I can't decided is I'd rather be a Riflemen or Sniper, I come from a long line of Marines and feel it is appropriate to be a Marine in airsoft, My Dad severed as a Marine Drill Instructor for 2 years after he served his duties in Nam, He trained me like he would a recruit so I have the training of a Marine, I would have joined but I have asthma so I couldn't join the Marines, now back on subject.
What would y'all rather be a Rifleman or Sniper, I know which guns I'll get, so let me know what would y'all rather be a Rifleman or Sniper?

sir rifleman... good day. welcome to the Tactical Airsoft Club Dumaguete Forums. Please feel free to browse and log in.
sir, please also introduce yourself in our "Members Please Intorduce Yourself" thread.
thank you
about your topic, all i can say is that in choosing to be a Rifleman or Sniper in AIRSOFT doesnt matter at all... all you got to do is try out all the weapons available. "Rifleman" or Sniper as you said, you can be both if you want. that depends on how u feel during game day.

sir wurm: you always make me laugh!!! hahahahahahaha!!!
being a sniper and a rifleman doesn't differ much in airsoft. Being a sniper is a state of mind. As long as you have the skill of a sniper, your assault rifle can be your sniper rifle. Lets face the fact, an upgraded AK47 can go up to 600fps, even out shooting a VFC Sniper Rifle.
In real life, a sniper rifle has distinct advantages in range (up to 2kms), muzzle velocity, and a .50cal from a Barret can surely take out a limb. But in the world of airsoft where all ammunition is at 6mm, only differing in weight (.12g->.6xg), in w/c both assault rifles and sniper rifles can use, the advantage a sniper rifle has is.... well, nothing..

I recommend a M14 if you want a good range, and full auto.. This way you only need to carry 1 weapon.
If you choose to carry a single shot, bolt action rifle, an MP5, or a CQB M4 would be a good 2ndary.

Is a full-auto M14 appropriate for the modern USMC and if so what color stock?

this is a Mark14 (M14) Mod 0 from Fulton Armory as for the color; your gun must match the color of its surroundings.. concealment is key to becoming the ultimate one shot one kill killer...

OK, I have decided to go with the Marine Rifleman, and Navy Seal for CQB, I plan on getting a M16A4, for the Marine loadout and a MP5SD5 or a socom M14 either or, Which company makes the best, and accurate looking clone, of a Systema M16A4 on the market for a tight budget?
