We have had 2 successful friendly games..
The 1st one was held when TAC was very young.. The teams who came then were Team EMC of Cebu, and NASL Bacolod.
The 2nd one was very recent (July 22). ASG-Dgte, DAT, ACL, BACCNA, etc. participated. Although EMC and NASL planned to come, they were not able to do so because of a Schedule Conflict.
Are we ready to hold a tourney, or a Major OP???
If you ask me, we have sufficient experience to be able to organize an OP. The only problem we have right now is funding.. Sir Dino(FTAC) agrees with me that we can do it. But we need everyone's support. Not only in the games, but in the planning and preparations as well.
Last July, one of our members was promoted to Senior Status because of his contributions. I'm sure the council will be willing to award a Fellow Status for senior members this time...

Here's my suggestion:
Keep the teams small; Say 5-6 members/team Why? * a smaller team is easier to control * the less people in the field, the easier we can control the game * smaller teams can join the OP (smaller teams don't need to merge with other teams) * since there are less players, only a small space is required.. Thus we can make several scenarios if we choose to use a FootBall sized field. * In an event TAC wants to play, we can employ an OPFOR system
We should avoid team VS. team skirmishes.. These bring the best and worse of an airsofter.
Amenities * we should make our guests as comfortable as possible. And make everything hassle free. How? * Food and drinks shall be sold on site; including lunch -- this is easy, all we have to do is ask a local restaurant/karinderia like mangga JVs eatery, kabayo-an, etc. to sell food and drinks there.. We take a percentage of course. * We shall partner with local lodges and hotels/hostels and probably make a deal for our guests. * Clean Comfort Rooms , especially for ladies who "sit". We should also sell Tissue paper and other necessary toiletries such as soap etc.
Funding * Get sponsors early.. | the tourism council will meet tommorrow, as soon as we get a GO signal we should consult the City on what companies are allowed to sponsor the event. If we become part of the festival in Nov. I'm sure they'll allocate some funding | We should get sponsors as early as possible.. The last time, lux ra kaayo ta pagkuha ug sponsors.. Last minute na tanan.. We should learn from that mistake na..
More suggestions are welcome..
